ISLAMIC EDUCATION GENEALOGY AS THE BASIS OF TREATING RELIGIOUS PLURALISM AND RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY HARMONY

This article discusses multicultural education as a relevant educational model used basis for caring religious pluralism and harmony the people of Karangpandan Village who have diversity. The background this study is that there are many groups intellect towards which ultimately distort national unity. Seeing these conditions, it important to make real efforts in order re-awaken importance harmony. uses qualitative approach with ethnographic types. main objective research describe diversity, pluralism, treat obtained from empirical data. To obtain valid data, done by means participant observation, in-depth interviews, document analysis. Data sources were selected using snowball sampling pattern, while analysis was based on data/informants field four types data techniques, namely domain analysis, taxonomy, componential cultural theme results indicate formal findings collaborative accommodative Islamic model, is, plural society has dominant culture, makes certain adjustments accommodations needs minorities, formulates implements culturally sensitive laws, provides freedom minorities maintain develop their otherwise majority do not against culture between minority collaborate build values ​​of education.
